Oxidization is a natural process for silver. It can easily be cleaned using products developed for it. If the whole object is in silver you can just dip it in the appropriate solution. If some stones or other materials are part of the jewel, you can spray the product on a cloth and clean its silver parts. Make sure to rinse it with cold running water and dry it with a clean towel.
It can be cleaned using specific products for red metals such as copper, brass or bronze itself, taking the same care as with silver.
I don’t rhodium-plate my jewelry, respecting the wabi-sabi Japanese philosophy, according to which everything is inevitably modified by use and the passage of time. This fact makes the pieces unique and individual, perfectly (im)perfect, giving them that singular charm only objects with a past can possess.
